The Martingale is a PCB top-mounted, 60-percent keyboard designed to be comfortable to type on and relatively affordable. It aims to maintain quality standards often found in higher-end boards. The case construction consists of three parts: top and bottom case, and a daughterboard mounting accent. The design elements are functional in purpose, with the exception of the side profile and bezel sizes. The keyboard has had four prototypes over two rounds of prototyping.

Martingale

The Poisson TKL keyboard is a top mounted TKL with options for regular and leaf spring mounting points, allowing users to adjust flex and sound. It has a low typing angle, low front height, and a low USB port. The design includes thin side bezels, larger top and bottom bezels, and an LED cutout in Morse code above the arrow cluster. The case is a seven-part design with internal and external brass weights, with final materials still to be determined. The PCB is H87-c compatible with a breakout LED daughterboard.
