The Minimi40 is a portable, lidded wireless keyboard designed with a 40% layout, inspired by bento boxes. Its lid serves a dual purpose as a wrist rest, enhancing comfort during use. The keyboard supports both wired and Bluetooth modes, with options for staggered and ortholinear layouts. It features a top mount design with various plate materials, including POM, PC, FR4, and aluminum, and offers both hotswap and soldered PCB configurations. The keyboard is made from a durable ABS/Polycarbonate blend and supports QMK/VIA for customization. 

Available in multiple colors, including black, white, jade green, cobalt blue, lavender, and pale pink, the Minimi40 also has an exclusive KeyBee Collab edition with a brass top. Its development includes a pre-certified Bluetooth module for seamless connectivity. The pricing is anticipated to be under $149, with several features included such as a travel pouch and a secure strap for the lid. Prototypes have undergone extensive testing, and further development is ongoing to ensure quality and functionality.
