The project includes various kitting options such as a Base Kit, MX Kit, and Extensions Kit, with the possibility of using doubleshot ABS or dye-sub PBT materials, depending on mold availability. The creator is in the process of contacting vendors for pricing and is seeking community input and assistance in finalizing the project. The initiative is a response to the demand for more contemporary and aesthetically pleasing Korean keysets in the keyboard market.

DCS Korean Beige (Alps + MX)

The GMK TELEX/Viet Add-on Kit is designed to enhance existing beige keyboard sets by providing Vietnamese language support. This add-on includes keycaps that feature stock GMK colors, specifically L9 for the base and CR for the legends, ensuring a cohesive look. The keycaps are doubleshot and incorporate unique designs, such as tulip-esque keys and front-facing legends for certain characters. While the kit is not intended to be a full base kit, it aims to fill a gap in the market for Vietnamese-themed keycap options, particularly for the growing Vietnamese mechanical keyboard community. The kit also includes novelties inspired by lotus flowers, with plans for some keys to be UV printed. Feedback and interest are currently being sought, with further details on vendors and pricing to be announced later.
