AKB Vero v2

The AKB Vero v2 is a customizable mechanical keyboard designed with a 6.9-degree typing angle and a clean, seamless construction. It features a 16.5mm front height and is inspired by the original HHKB layout. The keyboard is made from 6063 aluminum for the top and bottom case, and includes an engraved weight that varies by colorway. It has a top-mounted daughterboard for easier assembly and is compatible with QMK/VIA firmware. The Vero v2 offers compatibility with both MX and EC switch types, with options for a default MX plate, EC plate, and full PCBs for each switch type. Available colorways include Demi-Void, Fool's Gold, Luna, Peony, Violet Flame, and a mystery option. Pricing starts at $325 for aluminum and $360 for dyed PC models, with additional costs for PCBs and plates. The group buy for the keyboard will run from April 5th to April 26th or until 150 boards are sold, with fulfillment expected in 6-7 months.
