Class 1800

The Class 1800 is a customizable keyboard featuring a classic 1800 layout with options for a function row and additional pads. It is designed to evoke retro aesthetics similar to the G80-18xx, but with modern enhancements. A standout feature is the replaceable magnetic module located in the top left corner, offering choices between a solenoid/buzzer or dual knob. The keyboard includes a brass indicator light pad and both a brass inner weight and a PVD matte black stainless steel back weight. It supports multiple mounting methods, including top mount and silicone bottom gasket mount, with a plateless option available. Users can choose from five color finishes, including retro coatings and anodized options. The keyboard is compatible with QMK-VIAL and comes with a soldering PCB or a hotswap PCB option. Weighing approximately 3.5 kg unbuilt and 4.2 kg built, the Class 1800 has a typing angle of 7°. The base kit is priced at $360, with additional upgrades expected to be announced.
