Derivative R1 is a 60% keyboard that is currently in the interest check phase. It has undergone design changes since the initial run in Fall 2021. The keyboard comes in different layouts including WK, WKL, and HHKB, and offers different mounting options such as top, relief, and o-ring gasket. It is made of aluminum 6063 with a stainless steel weight and logo insert. The starting price for the keyboard is $439 USD. The group buy for Derivative R1 will open from March 25th to April 10th, with different pricing and sales formats available in different regions.
