The gwŷdd65, also referred to as "good wood," is a customizable mechanical keyboard available for group buy from November 4, 2024, to December 4, 2024. Priced at TWD$12,199 (approximately USD$380 / €350), it features a thermally modified Taiwanese Acacia wood case, with a gasket mount type for enhanced typing comfort. The keyboard includes options for various plates (Aluminium, Carbon Fibre, or Polycarbonate) and offers both solder and hotswap PCB configurations. Included in the base kit are a keyboard case, wrist rest, screws for assembly, a USB-C daughterboard, and a custom-fit EVA hard carrying case. The gwŷdd65 is designed with a 9-degree angle for both the case and wrist rest, weighing approximately 510g unbuilt and 875g when assembled. Additional components, such as adhesive gasket strips and silicone feet, are also provided. Optional add-ons include different plate materials and PCB types, allowing for tailored configurations to suit user preferences.
