OGR2 by AKB

The OGR2 by AKB is a mechanical keyboard that draws inspiration from vintage Cherry designs, featuring a 10° typing angle and full 6063 aluminum construction. It comes in a 65% layout and a fully reversible TKL module, both compatible within the same case. The keyboard includes a sandwiched and top-mounted leaf-spring plate for MX switches, offering a robust typing experience. Weighing 2.9kg (6.5lbs) unbuilt, it has a 21.5mm effective front height with bump-ons. The OGR2 supports QMK and VIA USB-C PCBs, with options for both integrated cable connections and a fly daughterboard. It features a period-authentic product sticker and comes with a CF plate by default. Notable updates from the first version include the option for a fly daughterboard and additional internal engraving. A new prototype reflecting these changes is currently on order. The design maintains a strong aesthetic appeal while providing functionality for modern users.
