Optica is a modern mechanical keyboard designed with aesthetics and acoustics in mind. It features a unique case design inspired by contemporary keyboard styles, aiming for a balance between subtlety and innovation. The keyboard offers a choice of layouts including WK, WKL, and HHKB, with a 6.9° typing angle and a front height of either 17.9mm or 22.0mm. Weighing 1.54kg when fully built, it incorporates a combination of plate-mount and gasket mounting systems for enhanced sound and feel.

The specifications include a 1.6mm FR4 PCB compatible with MX switches, an aluminum plate, and an aluminum top and bottom case, complemented by a stainless steel weight for added stability. The kit comes with a variety of components, including two PCBs (hotswap and solder), gaskets, rubber feet, and a carry case.

Optica is set to be available through a group buy period from January 3 to February 3, 2025, with an estimated price starting at $349 USD. Color options are still being finalized, but raw and silver finishes are confirmed. The keyboard aims to deliver a premium typing experience with an emphasis on sound quality and modern design.
