Orbit R2

The Orbit R2 is a high-quality mechanical keyboard designed by Machina, building on feedback from its predecessor, the Orbit R1. Key features include a 7.0° typing angle, a front height of 17mm, and a unique mounting style using silicon pins with four hardness options. The keyboard is equipped with a customizable PCB that supports USB-C, QMK/VIA compatibility, and both hotswap and solder options. It comes with a matching carrying case and has a weight of approximately 2.6KG. The design features a variety of materials, including anodized aluminum, full copper, and brass for the top and bottom cases, with a nano-coating finish available in some options. The keyboard is influenced by the HHKB series and offers a refined aesthetic with external curves and an internal pattern reminiscent of astronomy. The Orbit R2 aims to provide an enhanced typing experience while ensuring compatibility with R1 components.
