The DSS 6104 is a keyboard set inspired by the vintage Raytheon 6104 models from the late 1970s and early 1980s, known for their distinctive retro aesthetic featuring brown alphas and mustard-colored modifiers. This set aims to capture the charm of the original keyboards, which were widely used in various professional settings, including banks and police departments. The DSS profile, a sculpted variation of DSA, offers a unique typing experience, sitting between DSA and SA in height. The design incorporates DSA for the bottom row and spacebars, as convex DSS small bars are not yet available. The color scheme includes brown alphas, mustard yellow modifiers, and red accents, with legends in white. The set will be available in both a large monokit and individual split kits, catering to diverse user preferences.
